It is interesting to learn more about Russia. I have a proposal for a future podcast. There are TWO US state-based grassroots nuclear power advocacy groups [that I know of] that are making progress. New York Nuclear https://www.nuclearny.org/ and in Massachusetts - eco-nuclearsolutions.org [I'm part of this one]. The groups are in touch with each other and collaborate occasionally. We are models for other states to follow. Of course, everything got easier all of the sudden with AI and Trump dumping wind. Still, there is work to be done at each state's statehouse.
